After Surgery
General guidance only — your specific recovery plan will be discussed based on your procedure.
FAQs
Not necessarily. Many conditions are managed initially with non-surgical treatment such as physiotherapy, activity modification, or medication. Surgery is recommended only when it's likely to meaningfully improve your function or quality of life.
Hospital stay is commonly around 3–4 days, depending on the procedure, your medical condition and recovery progress. Individual timelines vary.
Many arthroscopic procedures can be done as day-care or short-stay surgery, though this depends on the specific procedure and your overall health. This will be discussed during your consultation.
Return to sport after ACL reconstruction is commonly discussed in the range of about 6–9 months, guided by healing, physiotherapy progress and surgical clearance rather than a fixed date. This is general information, not a personal prognosis.
Cashless and TPA facilities may be available, depending on the hospital, your policy and insurer empanelment at the time of admission. Please confirm with the hospital billing desk and your insurer before admission, and bring your policy details to your consultation.
